A Memoir Workshop
for women aged 60 and older

Workshop Description
The Older Women's Circle (OWL), is open to women aged 60 and older, is based on women's life
experiences and written especially for older women. It has been tested and revised in more than
50 OWL-Circle workshops with over 450 women and is one of the most effective memoir-writing
workshops available.

Participants are asked to contribute one of their stories developed during the workshop for
inclusion in a memoir booklet for each of the participants, the registration fee of $75 includes all
five workshop sessions, the OWL workbook, paper and pens, and the memoir booklet. A
voluntary public reading of stories will be scheduled after the last session.

The OWL-Circle Memoir Workshop is a project of the Story Circle Network, Austin, TX.
